She has now withdrawn from two more events: vault and uneven bars.

Biles is one of the most well-known gymnastics athletes in the world, with Olympic terminology named after her, and her choice to concentrate on mental health has received widespread acclaim.

The USA Gymnastics team stated on Twitter after Simone announced her decision to withdraw from the individual all-around competition, “We fully support Simone’s decision and admire her courage in prioritizing her well-being.”

‘Her bravery exemplifies why she is such a great model for so many.’

The last two events in which she may participate are scheduled for next week.

The Ariake Gymnastics Centre will host the floor exercise finals on Monday, August 2, and the women’s balancing beam final on Tuesday, August 3.

On the vault and floor, Biles is the reigning gold medalist.

At the Tokyo Olympics, she was poised to create history with her Yurchenko double pike vault.
